Brewster
Can anyone tell which keyboard was used to get the breathy flute sound used the solo of Peter Gaberiel's Sledge hammer? It was also used more recently in title track of TOTO's Mindfields album. Thanks, Brew
g05
do you mean the "flute" sound in the begining? it comes from the sample library of the emulator 2. i had an e2, but i sold it cause it took up too much space. i think i still have the disk though. g. Gus Lozada
Peter Gabriel told me last day (yeah, sure http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/biggrin.gif) ... well... I was informed it was (right, g05) an EMULATOR sample... a Sakuhachi sound. It was also used in the solo at the middle of the song. Try any "Sakuhachi" sample, Brewster... the secret is that out-of-tune tail what makes it so distinguishable, very "breathy". The best... ------------------ Gustavo G Lozada Moderador de: MusicPlayer.com/NuestroForo "La voz en Español en Música y Tecnología" GusTraX @yahoo.com Músico, Productor, Ingeniero, Tecnólogo Senior Product Manager, América Latina y Caribe - PreSonus at Fender Musical Instruments Company Instagram: guslozada Facebook: Lozada - Música y Tecnología www.guslozada.com
