Dave Bryce
Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly is EZ play music format? http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/confused.gif dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <==
Bobro
If you don't see it at Hitsquad... http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/win95/NOTATION/ Anyway, E-Z Play looks like a "proprietary format", but most likely some other software notation program can print in a similar style, very big, clear, with note letters superimposed on each note. Any piano teachers know of a program that prints like this? No I'm not such a nice guy as to google this out of sheer neighborliness, I'm looking for some notation software myself and happened across it in a thorough search- I noticed others asking about the format too, apparently it is very popular. One of my nieces has a book of music in this format. I'm not sure if I agree with the long-term educational value of superimposing note-names on the noteheads. Kids are brilliant, they'll rise to met the challenges, but they're devious too and will figure out how to "cheat" in a heartbeat. But any format that encourages people to get into reading and playing music and enjoying music is a good thing. -CB

Jack Leonard Co sells thousands of books of this format. I'm using it to teach senior citizens who don't have enough time left to learn proper music reading....tnx Charlie
