Magpel Posted August 2, 2001 Share Posted August 2, 2001 I need a non-weighted controller and figure I might as well get a few hundred new sounds while I'm at it. I need it urgently as I'm beginning a big (for me) commercial music project this weekend and I've finally had it with the QS 8 as my only controller (love the Alesis, don't get me wrong. It's just that as a non-piano player, the weighted action sometimes negatively affects the time and feel of my sequences and a need a non-weighted option). Any freakin' way, RS 5 is cheap and appears to have some cool features. Some speak well of its sounds. How well would it complement my QS 8 and Korg NS5r and my burgeoning collection gigasamples and soundfonts? Anyone have any experience with this relatively new machine?
