nhcomp45aol.com
Does anyone know the reason for the console load resistor. It seems as if it can be set to take a line or speaker level input. It was made in 55. Thanks, Paul.
Stephen Fortner
I have a 147, which I believe is the two-speed 47. The "console load resistor" dial on the amp was set differently according to what sort of organ the Leslie was hooked up to. Something to do with using the Leslie in tandem with the organ's internal amp and speakers, if memory serves. For running it with a B, or pedal preamp like a Trek II, you want it set to "open."
