stjane02
I have heard a lot of keyboard players say that ELP is great to play with. But I have never heard of them. Who are they???
michael saulnier
Emerson, Lake and Palmer. Great Keyboard based band from the beginnings of the prog rock era. Considered completely new at the time, Keith Emerson bridged the gap between classical players and rock players. You may occasionally hear one of their "pop" oriented songs like "Lucky Man" on the "classic rock" radio. Keith's inventive arrangements, athletic performances, and awesome mini moog chops gave him a stature at the time only matched by guitar players like Hendrix, Clapton, Santana, and others. Probably only Rick Wakeman was held in the same regard as a rock keyboard player at the time... But I guess you probably don't know who he is either. Ahhh... the generation gap. It's not your fault... guitplayer I'm still "guitplayer"! Check out my music if you like... http://www.michaelsaulnier.com
