Robin12

My fellow forum members...

Despite numerous attempts to get our wonderful friend Robin12 to go away, he seems to have such a boring personal life that he feels it necessary to come onto the forum every night and regale us with his vitriolic, sick little rants. Each night I delete his posts and his topics, but he still returns night after night with his demented little need to assert himself and spew mindless filth.

I have tried nicely asking him to behave himself, as have numerous forum members - nonetheless, he seems to feel it necessary to show off his desire to offend people who have done nothing to him, other than to request that he display his illness elsewhere if he can't manage to behave like a civilized human being.

The forum's webmaster has even blocked his email and his ISP, but he has so much time and anger on his hands that he managed to reregister and once again expose us to his particular brand of filth. How pathetic.

It is truly a shame to see such an angry, nasty, vile little human being displaying his illnesses and personal problems, and I must apologize for any of you who are exposed to any of his posts before I can catch and delete them. Please be assured that they won't stay here very long.

I request that you resist any temptation to tell him off, or in any way respond to any of his posts - I will make any topic he starts vanish pretty quickly, and I will edit any posts he puts in other topics as well - perhaps I will even change them to contain amusing anecdotes, or perhaps the odd piece of prose or poetry.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding - I regret any inconvenience that this minor annoyance may cause.

Dave:

Have the webmaster run a reverse DNS on his IP at www.whois.com, get the name of his ISP and report the little squirt. They'll do better than ban him...

We already have his email address:

robin12_espn@go.com

and he has certainly already been reported our to webmaster. Feel free to report him yourself, if you're into it, my brother.

Personally, I'd rather just delete the threads he starts - it only takes half a second - and, frankly, I'd have fun typing something amusing over the top of any posts that he puts into other threads. I'm thinking of using stanzas from "Jabberwocky", actually - great poem.

The point is - he can't win. I can post anything that I want about him, do whatever I want with his posts, and delete or modify anything that he puts up.

I figure he'll get the idea eventually and slither back under whatever rock he crawled out from in the first place. It's just a question of how much he wants to see us make public sport of him.

The problem I've seen on other Boards is that folks like this thrive on the attention - be it positive OR negative. JMO you'd be best off just deleting the offending posts, and not being 'cute' w/ them.

I used to think I was Libertarian. Until I saw their platform; now I know I'm no more Libertarian than I am RepubliCrat or neoCON or Liberal or Socialist.

I hear what you're saying, and I appreciate the feedback. As you have noticed, that's what I've been doing so far - I'm just considering some amusing possibilities at this point. I mean, why waste your time making a post if someone can erase the words you type and put new words in it under your name?

Nonetheless, you're probably right, and I'll probably just continue to wipe 'em out. It takes less of my time.

Well done Dave!!

A very wise decision to ban robin12 and delete his posts. Pointless negativity is what we need no more of in this world. It makes me sad that people have to be that way. Excellent choice in his banishment... perhaps someday he'll wise up.

You're right. He's not worth the effort. He's probably a guitarist.

Dave, you are a wonderfull man even to be so calm and to do all these things in such a "subttle way" about that pest problem that for sure takes a lots off your valuble time. My opinion is that this guy thrives on attention. Maybe best solution is just to ignore him completly by all forum members.

What you and all other friends here think about that?

Dave,

You are one class act! Kudos!

Ironically, he's probably reading this right now and thinking... Oh boy, I've really got their attention now...

So...

Maybe after a couple of days you should kill this thread as well?

Don't know if it means anything but his profile said he was from Alaska...

Oh and http://www.whois.com/ "is currently under construction."...

Hey... guys...there are some fine people in Alaska who play guitar...I lived there for 5 years. Great place. Good blues scene in Anchorage.

Did you know that there is a lot of evidence

to suggest that Batman and Robin were conceived

Maybe our friend Robin12 came here because he

knew most of this forum was male and he was

trying to hook up with someone?

Maybe he's just into the aggresive love style?

Hmm, maybe the 12 in the sign doesn't indicates the age, but the size in inch? http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Probably more like size in millimeters...

Speaking of which, did we ever confirm that "Robin" was male? Perhaps it was some malcontent uh, lady...

Speaking of which...

D'ja hear about the guy who goes in for a Hollywood audition back in the 50s. The producer auditions him as a comic...and the guy has everyone in stitches.

"What's your name?" the producer asks.

"Penis Van Lesbian" the guy replies, to shocked silence.

"Well, you'll definitely have to change your name"

Of course, he did, and he became famous, and still has reruns on "Nick at Nite", after he changed his name to Dick Van Dyke.
