Gus Lozada
Perhaps the fact English is not my native tongue did not allow me to participate more actively in the Flame wars. I use mostly "business english"... so "bastard" is an extremely rude word in my vocabulary (If I call "bastard" to a supplier or business partner, I'd get fired... and badly kicked). And saying jokes in english is not yet my specialty. I understood, however, everything and learned how to get nasty with others if required (thanks Joe G. !) besides of learning how to have a nice sex chat with a Trombone player... http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/biggrin.gif Due to this, my vote goes to: Rudest tongue in town: Joe Gerardi Best Casanova wannabe: DanSouth Thread with the most of responses: Valkyrie Have you all a nice day, good behaved ladies and gentlemen. dansouth
Thanks for the vote, pendejo. http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/wink.gif Sorry, I'd better stick to my "business Spanish".
Gus Lozada
Dang, I did not want to break the rules... but... (Sorry Dave)... Ahahahaha... DanSouth... that "kind" word you told me means something as nice as "fxcking xsshole" ... gracias amigo. I like you too. Here it goes something for u. Good luck on trying to translate it: "No hay pe'o, Hijuelachingá" http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/biggrin.gif (Try to say that with a REAL accent from a native from Veracruz, México) GREAT !!! This was really funny... http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gif Músico, Productor, Ingeniero, Tecnólogo Senior Product Manager, América Latina y Caribe - PreSonus at Fender Musical Instruments Company Instagram: guslozada Facebook: Lozada - Música y Tecnología www.guslozada.com

I considered "cabron" and "puta", but I thought pendejo was that least offensive of the three. I'm not really sure. I pick these things up from movies like "El Mariachi". No offense - just my feeble attempt at Mexican humor. http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gif
Dave Bryce
Just a gentle reminder that the voting ends tomorrow at 6 PM Eastern time... dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Professional Affiliations: Royer Labs • Music Player Network
Dave Bryce
...which has just passed. It seems that I owe Mr. Gerardi a NanoPiano (unless he wants the synth). Cool. His post in the 'Starting Trouble" thread was the best flame I've seen yet. Congrats, Joe, and thanks to everyone else who played... dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Professional Affiliations: Royer Labs • Music Player Network

I also appreciate the free language lesson. It will help me to improve my "Business English" thing... http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/biggrin.gif By the way, Dave, you're welcome. This was very Interesting. Sorry if we were not rude enough, but hey, we're keyboard players... http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/wink.gif which means... ok, ok, no more flames... Dan Worley
I'm glad he won because that flame was a masterpiece. I laughed harder over that than I did over all the comedies I watched last year combined. I've alerted the Pulitzer Prize committee. Funny stuff, Joe. Congratulations. Lee Flier
Yeah, I'll second that (or third or fourth or whatever). I haven't laughed so hard in I don't know how long! Congrats, Joe! --Lee
joegerardi
Thanks everyone. I was away on business since VERY early Thurday, (I left at 4:00AM) and it was neat to come back and find out I won. It was really fun to let go for once. I'm a moderator on the Glock Talk page, a page devoted to Glock pistols, and the rules there are no swear words at all. We're dealing with pistols and our 2nd Amendment rights, and we try to take the higher road on everything so as not to appear as gun-crazed nuts. Because of that, I am constantly deleting posts and warning people, (the number of trolls we get is astounding) and have been flamed so often, that I never need to try to get a tan. I love to write, and it was fun to challenge myself to create a major flame. I do want to stress that everything I wrote was in fun. I respect the hell out of all of you, except maybe robin12- the number I believe a reference to his age, and it's so great to have a forum such as this to discuss music in general and our instrument in particular. Dave sent me an e-mail asking which one I want. I told him "The Andromeda" of course! http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/biggrin.gifhttp://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gifhttp://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/biggrin.gifhttp://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gifhttp://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/biggrin.gif ..Joe Setup: Korg Kronos 61, Roland XV-88, Korg Triton-Rack, Motif-Rack, Korg N1r, Alesis QSR, Roland M-GS64 Yamaha KX-88, KX76, Roland Super-JX, E-Mu Longboard 61, Kawai K1II, Kawai K4. Dave Bryce
Joe has chosen the NanoSynth, which still leaves me with a NanoPiano. To the best of my ability to count, there was a tie for second place in the voting between DanSouth and ValkyrieSound, but I'm inclined to give it to Valky for two reasons: 1) Dan is already giving his own gear away, and 2) Valky started the most entertaining thread. Val, send an email to Davebryce9@aol.com with your shipping info, and I'll send you the module. I hope you guys enjoy the toys! dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Professional Affiliations: Royer Labs • Music Player Network
joegerardi
Dave: Even is someone else has already said this, I want to state it again: Thanks. This was fun, and I would be willing to bet my pension that everyone would have partaken in it even if there was no prize. I know I did: I didn't even vote at the end.
