Dave Bryce
The short answers: what is TDM? In the context that you've probably seen it, TDM usually refers to a format to identify software plug-ins that are designed to work with/live within Digidesign's Protools Hard Disc recording system. and VST? VST usually refers to a software sequencing program by a company called Steinberg. The program's full name is Cubase VST. Plug-ins designed to work with it are usually referred to as being VST compatible, in the same way that TDM compatible refers to ones that work with Protools. There's a third one in the Mac world: MAS - this one applies to plug-ins for Mark of the Unicorn's Digital Performer software. Does that help? and DAW? Digital Audio Workstation. dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Professional Affiliations: Royer Labs • Music Player Network
