Dave Horne
Hi, I seem to have good luck when buying samples. I just bought and received the Wizoo (that's the brand name) Magnetica CD-ROM which has more than several versions of the Fender Rhodes electric piano. (It also has a Wurlitzer, a Hohner Clavinet and a handful of B-3 sounds.) I am quite pleased with this purchase - the price was about $70 (give or take) and is most useable. I also use the William Coakley Perfect Piano vol 3 (acoustic Steinway), so I'm pretty much set when it comes to working jobs. If anyone is looking for an acoustic or Rhodes sample, I can personally recommend both CD-ROMs as being very usable. The Magnetica was very well priced and is worth checking out. Dave Horne
Hi, I just now saw my Visa statement online and the total cost for that Wizoo Magnetica CR-ROM was $63. That included the shipping costs. I am still playing around with that CD-ROM, but am very happy with it. It's too bad they haven't come up with a more descriptive name for that CD-ROM. I'm sure most people would have passed it by. I only learned about it from this news group. marc_dup2
Wizoo has started as a kind of sub-company of the german "Keyboards"-magazine. Inside of Germany they are well known. ------------------ Marc
Dave Horne
Marc, thanks again for putting me on the path to wizoo. Good price and very useable sounds. Even though I live over here, I really only check out the US Keyboard magazines.
