analogman1 Posted January 4, 2001 Posted January 4, 2001 Hello all, Sometimes the slider movements on these synths (the continuous sliders) seem to "carry over" to the next patch. I've tried the "panic" button which resets all controllers; this sometimes works, sometimes not, depending on the controller (modulation always seems to remain). Any thoughts on how do always reset these safely?? TIA, Tom Bitondo Tom Nord Electro 5D, Modal Cobalt 8, Yamaha upright piano, numerous plug-ins...
Guest Posted January 4, 2001 Posted January 4, 2001 Same problem. No solution. I pull the sliders back manually, myself after switching patches. Love to hear of a solution. Jerry

MDK Posted July 7, 2001 Posted July 7, 2001 Definately some funny results if the controllers are cranked up for the leslie in an organ sound and you switch to Wurly where the same sliders control the vibrato/trem. Compare it to any (non stick-shift) synth when you leave the modulation wheel engaged. I would suggest the sliders should default to level control whenever a patch is changed. It seems that in that case you have to walk the sliders a bit before they pick up the current value.
