Chip McDonald Posted September 24, 2000 Share Posted September 24, 2000 I posted here a few weeks ago a way to legally kill Napster at their own game - flood them with the availability of bogus copies of legit music - and it looks like Bare Naked Ladies has done just that... If every "big" band had the people who handle their Net business do the same thing - Napster would be dead in a week. But that still wouldn't change the nature of MP3's availability elsewhere, and if the industry as a whole were to pull this you would have a serious negative reaction - and more publicity popularizing MP3's...
