booesoundchoice.com Posted July 26, 2000 Share Posted July 26, 2000 I am currently bringing all of my boards insert points up to TT patchbays. I understand that the send wire connects to the tip pin on the top back row of the patchbay, and the return connects to the tip pin on the bottom back row. My question is, what do I do with the shield wire? Should I split it and connect it to the ground pin on both the top and bottom rows?
