Eric Beam
i like to hear that.. i take that as a compliment.. yeah it's a different setup. it's influenced by Matt Chamberlain's amos tour kit somewhat.. coyote
I don't muffle my bassdrums; the Yamaha Stage Custom Standard 22"s just don't need it. http://acapella.harmony-central.com/forums/attachment.php?s=&postid=6003405 The drummer in my band uses deadringers over the pinstripe heads, but he seems to be moving away from that. Last rehearsal, the drums were completely natural and they sounded great. I used to think I was Libertarian. Until I saw their platform; now I know I'm no more Libertarian than I am RepubliCrat or neoCON or Liberal or Socialist. This ain't no track meet; this is football. ss
i've been away from zero rings for many years now and i'll never go back. they seem to take away from the tom's true tone. so many drummers believe that what they hear behind their kit is exactly what the audience hears and that is a falsehood. zero rings were choking my drums and i didnt really relize it. tatudbassman
After seeing Bassgrrrl26 , and the lawnmower8, my mind started going down hill for some reason? And when I saw the word "kit", it went totally distracted me from drums. And a drummer is bassplayer's best friend. My 4yr old, even has a 5 piece Tama RockStar set-up. I'm I the only one? tatudbassman
Man that really messed me up. Funny how the mind (male) works. I couldn't even spell or type. And, I'm not a "dirty old man", it's that I'm seperated and I guess it's been too long. That, even sounds funny... I better go have a cigarette. Vince "Every child is an artist. It is one of the last kits to use Jasper shells. Chris Layton used it for a few dates ... then I bought it from Fork's Drum Closet here in Nashville. Beautiful kit ... not a scratch on it ... yet. Oh, and the kit sounds great as well. The snare allow was worth the price of admission. Drummer Cafe - community drum & percussion forum
