Reverse the Curse
Hey all. I have been hangin over at the guitar forum a little, but I am also a drummer (much better drummer than guitarist). I was checkin out building a custom set based on the Pearl DR503 ICON Rack System. First off, can I use a double bass setup with the rack. Secondly, how the heck do I mount friggin toms and cymbals on that thing. I was hopin to have 4 toms and on the rack and a floor, and as many cymbals as possible. bleen
I just sold my Starclassic kit that I had mounted on an ICON 503 rack: http://dongunn.com/photos/drums/tama-front.jpg To use the rack with a double-kick kit, you'd probably want to buy one addtional side bar, so that you have a total of four crossbars and five legs. Then you put one crossbar over each kick and two out to the sides. recording/mix guy don gunn.com myspace.com/dongunnmusic
