Allan Speers
I need a remote-hats set-up. None of my local dealers keep these in stock, so I can't try them. Looking fro opinions on which is best, between the big three: Tama IC, Pearl eliminator, and DW. The Pearl seems like a steal at $233 street price, vs $300 for the Tama, but is it junk? Opinions please!
coyote
The Pearl is the smoothest action of the three IMO. I used to think I was Libertarian. Until I saw their platform; now I know I'm no more Libertarian than I am RepubliCrat or neoCON or Liberal or Socialist. This ain't no track meet; this is football. Tedly Nightshade
Never tried the others, but DW is pretty dang smooth. A WOP BOP A LU BOP, A LOP BAM BOOM! Rod Gervais
Allan, I use the Pearl and I love it - it can be adjusted to suit your needs. Rod
Jazzman
I've seen a set of remote set of hats but they were just a set of hats that were mounted on a stand and bolted to the drum stand, no pedal or cable. I wonder who here has seen a set like that mounted on the drum stand system? I myself do not have a remote set-up. Jazzman
