ss Posted September 21, 2003 Share Posted September 21, 2003 O.K., I know you guys will think this is a stupid question but here it goes....I'm not sure if the black rubber gaskets (or whatever their called) that attatch to the vibra bands are supposed to be placed with the little end up or down. I did not get instructions and I've never used vibra bands. Can someone PLEASE HELP ME? I feel like a simple animal who can't figure out his new toy. ss Posted September 24, 2003 Author Share Posted September 24, 2003 The vibra bands are Ludwigs tom mounting system (I'm about 80% sure thats what Ludwig call them)that allows the toms to substain. The 4 little black rubber gastkets attach to the v bands. The bands are mounted between the tom's lug and rim and the lug screw goes through the black rubber gaskets. You see, the rubber gaskets have a groove cut in the approximate middle with 1/2 of the gasket being smaller than the other 1/2.
