djarrett Posted September 8, 2003 Share Posted September 8, 2003 Jack's Signature Sabian cymbals are lathed with a raw bell. This raw bell mutes much of the overtones. They can still be loud if struck very hard, but for the normal player, the volume is not as much as a regular series set of cymbals. Hope this helps.
