HypnoBassMan
Hello there! I'm thinking about picking up a kit for two reasons. First I'm a bass player who wants to improve his rhythm. Im thinking that if I spend some time really learning how a drummer works Id be a better bass player and work better with drummers. Second, it would be nice to have a basic drum set around for when friends who play drums stop by to jam. So, Im looking for suggestions for beginner drum sets. This may just be a passing phase for me so I dont want to spend a lot of money on the set. Any input would be appreciated. HypnoBassMan The deeper you go the better you feel! djarrett
Hypno: EBAY!! Try e-bay, but beware of all the entries that say Beginner Kit. Find a old 4 pc or 5 pc used kit. When you find one you may be interested (and at the price), Place the link in the forum thread here, and we will look at the set and try to advise. Remember, a better quality used kit will be easier to sell (should you abandon this cause) than a cheap beginner kit. Hope this helps. DJ
