techristian
Did you ever use gasline fittings and plastic tubing with a tom tom? This is something I did about 20 years ago. You screw a gas fitting into the breathing hole on your tom tom. You must have both skins on the tom tom. While playing on the tom, you blow into the tube to raise the pitch of the tom. It makes for very interesting drum solos. Dan http://teachmedrums.com TEACHMEDRUMS.COM My Music Videos RED PILL

techristian
I'm afraid to admit that it wasn't my idea. "Funky Fred" (aka Tim Gibson)here in Windsor showed me it. He was into all kinds of Latin and African percussion. I don't know where he got the idea from. I have designed several things, but this wasn't one of them.
