DC
I've got an older kit from the 60's. Been experimenting with tuning lately and I notice that some lugs seem to turn much easier than others. Do you regularly oil the screw portion of lugs or does this make them slip out of tune easier? Also if they should be oiled, 3 in 1 or WD-40 or what's best? djarrett
In the past, I always used vasoline for this. However, a hard white lithium grease is prefered. They also sell something called lug-lube which is made for this.It is important for proper tuning that you use this.DJ
