rebonn
Does anyone recall the flashbeat metronomes that were basicly a light hanging from the ceiling? Does anyone make those anymore? Could you incorporate a light into an existing metronome? It seems this would be a better way for timekeeping since it involves sight and seems it wouldn't be so let say confining. I heard that Neil Peart once or maybe more than once wore a vest that pulsed the time to his torso. I can see it now, I'm wearing a pulsating vest, headphones with a click and watching a flashbeat Now that's getting out of hand. www.blairsdevillestudios.com
djarrett
Rebonn:The only flashbeat that I have ever heard of ... and I have one ... is the Franz flashbeat. Just an old standard black box with BPM dial that features a flashing light on the top. Useful for the ole stone stick control workout.I know some of the new pocket models feature an LED light that is quit visible. As far as a pulsating vest ... I think you may find something on that under the urban myths website!!! DJ
