popstalin
Hey all- I received that 1958 Ludwig kit yesterday and have 1 major problem with it... the bass drum spurs - they suck! I don't want to drill holes in this drum (not only am I going to use it to but it's kinda an investment too). Anyway, I am searching for clamp-on bass drum spurs. I found them on the net once and now that I need them, can't find them. Anyone know where I can get them? Thanks! Oh, the drums sound great but I need to "lube" all the hardware, cause it rattles. djarrett
You may also want to check with Rebeats.comRob Cook may not have them, but would know the "correct" ones for this era of drum.DJ

Tedly Nightshade
These won't be original but www.lefima-usa has rubber tipped ones to clamp onto the bass drum hoop. Mine BD isn't going anywhere, using them. I'm actually using two in front and two in back.Ted A WOP BOP A LU BOP, A LOP BAM BOOM! "There is nothing I regret so much as my good behavior. popstalin
Thanks for the tips. I will check them out. Meanwhile, my bandmates and I got together last night and started cleaning off 40+ years of grime. Things are starting to sparkle like new. Jen H.
