bluepxl Posted February 2, 2002 Share Posted February 2, 2002 we used to have to do that in my old band... we woould just either take a big sign and put it in front of the drum so you couldn't see, or just masking tape somethin up there, like a posterboard that has the new name. sure it looks tacky, but that's apart of the charm, eh?! Easy fix though, since I used two solid heads on the kick, and had no hardware attached to it. I'd just spin the drum for the appropriate gig. And turn the spurs around, of course. If the Bass drum head is black have your friend get some bright neon printer paper. Print out the band name on the paper and tape it over the drum head name.
