felix stein
Is so far awesome. Took me about 10 minutes to set up. I am running it with Cubase VST 32...it is going great- I've used Cubase 3.7 and this blows it away. They finally have these drivers working great. I'll let you know how my ADAt fits into the system. Should be ok I just couldn't buy another ADAT. I wish I was practicing instead of hacking though... felix's band
sidereal
Congrats Felix.... welcome to the world of nonlinear music. Now, if I could only locate Fade #23712 on my hard drive. Just for the record.
felix stein
Well I got my first taste of hard disk recording back in 96 when I bought a Version 1 VS 880...then cubase 3.6 then pro audio 9. Pro Audio 9 is not too bad sonically...I think this VST 32 is going to be a little better though...have to run it through my monitor system to find out...lots of work yet to do. The stuff is getting better now.... That is for sure. felix's band
djarrett
Hey, Felix: You dog! I really want one of these units bad! I hear fascinating stories about the ease of use. Let us know more about your experience as it develops. DJ
felix stein
Since you have the mighty Titanium apple notebook I would get one. My friend runs audio desk through his g3 and loves it. Yeah, I have it running in VSt through my notebook...I'm trying now to configure my glyph fire wire drive to go with it...it sucks cause I have xp and formatting has changed to support large disks. but the 828 is great so far...booted right up. felix's band
