Well, I can't think of a better time to plug the Drum Ring International at http://DrumRing.Org . http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I can't say that it's the "best" (I'm the founder), but I think it's valid and has something to offer the drumming community. http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/cool.gif The Drum Ring International now has over 60 professional members, many of which offer their own instructional videos, books and CDs in the Drum Ring Store. Check it out!

  • 2 weeks later...

Here are some of my favourite drum links. The first site has excellent descriptions of the mechanics of stick control including, among other things, finger strokes and the Moeller technique. I've been playing for years and my stick control was improved within a few hours of reading the articles on this site. No joke.

At http://drums.about.com/library/weekly/aa101700.htm there's an article that describes the Gladstone technique and provides a real insight into developing dynamic control.

Another article that taught me a lot was "Prof. Sound's Drum Tuning Bible" at http://www.drumweb.com/profsound.shtml .
