AnthonyPC
New guy here. I play a 5 piece Tama, don't believe in a lot of drums, and I have just what I need. I like reading mostly here, and at other boards. Been drumming kinda seriously for about 15 years. Must have had a weak moment tonight to register and post. Too many arguments on some of the other boards. I get a kick out of reading it though.
Gaddabout
Unfortunately, Anthony, the registration form is incomplete. We need to know how many single strokes you can play in 60 seconds. So ... who's your favorite drummer, what's your background, what do you do for a living, and all that jazz?
AnthonyPC
I am probably a lot older than most of you.(44) I have played with many bands, but no one you heard of, including weddings, and local bars, before DJ's ruined it I'm not sure how many bpm I do, and you??? Do I need to know, maybe?? Not sure about that yet. I will tell you I am nowhere near that Verde guy. I think speed is important, so is control His site is great, as far as I am concerned, but I will never be that good. I am a Buddy fan, of course, aren't we all, although there are many new ones I think are real good. I try to listen to the drummer is all music, just a habit I have. I think that we all talk way too much about equip., because it is all good, to someone. I like reading here about tech, and try to keep up I admit this was pretty boring, but you asked, Now can I stay?
