joe blow Posted August 1, 2001 Share Posted August 1, 2001 hey i was in a music store the other day and i saw a primeir drumset that was made out of maple and birch. i thought that was a little weird but i played it and it was pretty good sounding. has anyone every played this or know of any other sets that are maple and birch together? There are, however, not many companies that follow suit! Of course, ... when you get into built to order kits with manufacturers like DW, or salon drums ... like Pork Pie, you can order with what ever wood mix you like!
