The answer is...it lists for $199, I typically see it discounted to $150.

 

Yes it runs in Cakewalk as DXi, but don't forget, you can also run VST instruments and processors with (theoretically) DirectX-only programs by using programs like FXpansion's VST-DX adapter.

Is anyone using Battery with Logic Audio Platinum on a Mac? I'd like to know how stable it is. I recently bought NI B4 which sounds wonderful but I haven't been able to upgrade it and NI hasn't been able to help me as of yet. I've also read on other forums that there products aren't that stable.

Native Instruments seems to be the best of the virtual synths. Problem is they're usually the most complex. I've messed with Reaktor a bit and was overwhelmed. This looks a bit more intuitive. Hmmmm...
