BenLoy
Oh. My. God. If any of you out there are even armchair funk fans, you need to own this DVD. Prince is a man posessed. His band is on fire. He's got MACEO PARKER playing in the horn section for god's sake. Get this DVD. You\'ll see what I mean. That is all.
wraub
Where there is Prince, The Funk can usually be found, But the presence of The Mighty Maceo assures the Funky sound! (Biggest. Maceo. Fan. Ever.) Thanks for the tip, Ben! Peace, wraub I'm a lot more like I am now than I was when I got here.

moot
I do own it. Incredible show! Prince is the best front man ever - bar none, hands down. "He is to music what Stevie Wonder is to photography." getz76 I have nothing nice to say so . . .
73 P Bass
I was going to order it on Saturday night (along with a cute little shirt for my daughter), but for some reason didn't pull the trigger. ...
I must purchase this. Immediately, if not sooner.
groovyjazzyfunky
I have it. The performance is awesome and this would probably be one of my favorite DVD's, if the sound production didn't completely suck ass. Sometimes Prince's self-released products don't quite pan out. BenLoy
The sound quality is the weak point...although I've found it definately sounds better the louder you turn it up. Not enough compression when they mixed it, I guess.
groovyjazzyfunky
All I know is it sounds reaaaaalllly bad on my 6.1 surround sound system, no matter what settings I mess with. It's as if the sound was a complete afterthought, as opposed to the centerpiece that it should've been. Very frustrating, considering the amazingness that is obviously happening on the stage. DWBass
I have that DVD and the Rave... DVD! Both are hot! And yes, Rhonda Smith is so fine! I haven't had any sound issues with mine but I just set my DVD player and receiver to just run in 2 channel stereo. www.myspace.com/thefunkfather
73 P Bass
You youngsters are so spoiled; I think it sounds great(I'm watching it on the computer with headphones; Blues Clues is on ya know)! I remember back in the day, rushing home on Friday night to watch Night Flight, in the chance to see ANY live music. The only criticism would be it sounds too much like a board tape and you don't really hear the room. The audio-video sync is a little off too.
