Can't say that I'm all that crazy about the way it looks. But that's kinda like judging a book by it's cover. I would like to try it out. Think he'd let my borrow it for awhile?

I used to think I was Libertarian. Until I saw their platform; now I know I'm no more Libertarian than I am RepubliCrat or neoCON or Liberal or Socialist.

Cool, but I just want two of Jummy Johnson's 5 strings. Fretted and Fretless. Duncan pickups and electronics, with a passive mode for when I forget about the 9v batteries. Perhaps a purple see thru finish on the fretted would be grand.

That would be more than enough Alembic pr0n for me! :)

Somebody...anybody...tell me that I'm not the only one that would have to wear a bib to keep from drooling all over this bass .

I had never even seen an 8 string (non octaves) like this until a day or two ago and I doubt that I'd be physically able to play a monster like this. I have no idea why but I find this to be one of the most beautiful (albeit somewhat surrealistic) works of art I've ever seen. I dunno, maybe I just have overly eccentric taste for a 20-year-old coupled with an affinity for quilted maple.

Scary scary stuff... I would not have the first clue of what to do with that thing.
