Z1 query

Hi I'm using the Z1 as my studio's midi keyboard (everything else is a module or software) and am struggling to get a velocity curve setting that works well. The standard curve -4 -pretty much maxes out at vel.117 unless I hit the keys with my fist :eek: then it'll get up to 127. The other settings seem just as ineffective for a general usage mode, too quiet, too loud or too fixed. Am i missing something? or is the Z1 not a good general usage midi keyboard controller? thanks Renie
