DONUT Posted September 2, 2004 Share Posted September 2, 2004 Last weekend was a great gigging weekend. 2 hours at an outdoor fest with Hot Toddy,an original Orbison/alt country thing during the early evening. 4 hours at a half assed club at night with my cover band. Had fun. Met nice people. Made good coin. Here are some pictures of the Dragonboat fest. They race these homemade boats.I would say there was close t 2000 folks there the first night which is not something I get to do too often. So it was nice. I think some folks thought we were a national type big deal act because we were signing autographs and stuff. They felt cheated when they saw me rip my jacket getting my SVT cab into my rusty Jeep. Its cool to hear the voice and snare bounce off the hillside. I wondered about you. You used to live here? Did you gig here? Maybe we know some of the same people. You have to copy the url from below into a new browser window.
