substrat-0
Hi,i`m useing my fender and my 4001 ric on gigs. Can anyone suggest a mixer that i can plug both into and won`t cost an arm and a leg?
saxofunk
See if this Rolls mixer fits your bill. 1 rack space - easy to put in with the rest of your gear. But not as inexpensive as some of the smaller table top mixers out there at $250 through Musiciansfriend. Perhaps this little $79 one is more your speed. BTW sbstrat-0, welcome to the LllllooooowwwwwDddddddoooooooowwwwwnnnnnn. - Matt W.
jeremy c
Sometimes I use one of these: http://img.musiciansfriend.com/dbase/pics/products/tn/15/150102.t.jpgDOD resistance mixer It cost $39.99 and uses no batteries or power. You could also build something like it for even less than that with a few mad skillz. Free download of my cd!.
SteveC
Behringer makes little 2 channel mixers that are pretty cheap. I know a keyboard player that used one for his keys. Raven Labs also makes a nice little unit that might work for you. It's quality stuff.

Unless of course there is a big difference in gain... in which case you could use a pickup-booster like Seymour Duncan's gain-booster pedal before the A/B box. Unless of course there is a big difference in tone. But then again, if you want both basses to sound the same, you wouldn't need both of them at the gig, eh? Subsonicbass
I've had good luck using a Boss LS-2. Each bass can be bought to the same output level with the A and B gain. http://www.tanapi.co.jp/images/024/1-pic-24-boss-ls2-l.jpg
