Matt.Hepworth Posted June 14, 2002 Share Posted June 14, 2002 Yup. In fact, the M2 is maybe the most complementary mic for my voice that I've ever tried - save maybe a U67. To compare to a mic you may be familiar with, the AT4033, it is not quite as bright and adds a bit of body in the 120-200hz range. It seams like I was thumbing through some off the shelf recording mag and saw a review in it. Might have been Recording Mag. A newer issue, I think. Anyway, it's a great mic - a real steal at $300. It may not be what you're looking for - very warm, not bright/airy. No matter how good something is, there will always be someone blasting away on a forum somewhere about how much they hate it.
