lrossmusic
Anyone ever seen the program called CakeTalking that helps blind folks navigate Cakewalk Pro Audio? I've been to www.dancingdots.com who sell it but they don't give much info on how it actually works other than to say that it helps enbable bind musicians to use Cakewalk. I was hoping someone here might have seen it work or could turn me on to a blind user. Thanks
lrossmusic
Hopeful second chance that someone with a helpful tip might have missed this post when it was on the first page over the weekend. Even the slightest clue would be appreciated. Thanks
Dylan
I've heard of people using something called Jaws with Cakewalk. You might try calling Cakewalk at 888-CAKEWALK just to double-check.
lrossmusic
Thanks Dylan, I did a search on JAWS and it is some kind of screen reader program with a voice synth. I also discoverd that it costs $895 or $1,195 for full version. Ouch!! My blind buddy won't be diggin' that part too much. :) Anyway you are right, CakeTalking which is only $249, won't work without it.
