John Entwistle\'s Guitar Collection for sale I've heard in the past that he had an absolutely amazing collection of rare Fender basses. Free download of my cd!. _Sweet Willie_
Jeremy, Thanks for the info. Fascinating. Your second link suggests that a list of items and pictures might be available from Southeby's. I wonder if Roger or Pete will bid on any of the items. Peace. spreadluv Fanboy? Why, yes! Mark Zeger
Makes me think of 2 scenes in "The Kids Are Alright". One was Ox walking down the stairs in his house, past all the guitars and basses hanging on the wall, like a museum. The other was on the Smothers Brothers, when all hell breaks loose between Townshend and Moon, smashing gear to bits, and Entwistle is clutching his bass for dear life. Seems like he valued his gear even back then.
HiRoller
There was a big article in Guitar Player magazine about 20 years ago on Entwistle's collection. Absolutely insane. Not only did he have every year of every guitar worth collecting, he had several different colors of each. my band: Mission
