JDL
I'm sorry, it's just that It is closer to Christmas now, so I decided to bring it up again. I want a Spector, and an LA8 SWR series amp. And, just as others, world peace. JDL- JDL on Purevolume Bird\'s Eye View on Purevolume
dcr
The list for the dreamer bassist in me: a new Fender Geddy Lee signature Jazz. It'd easily be my #1 instrument...for under $600! The list for the realist bassist in me: dead solid reading skills. What I really hope for: having my wife & kids around, & maybe a new pair of blue jeans. Corny, but true. What I really deserve: coal, in lump, with no prospects of turning diamond. Also corny, but true!
JDL
I want to save up for either a Spector, or a Warwick Rock bass, now. Any changes in your plans or dreams? JDL-ah, Christmas JDL on Purevolume Bird\'s Eye View on Purevolume

SteveC
I pretty much have the gear I need for now, but I'd love for someone to pay off the plastic I used to pay for it since I really can't afford the lifestyle I try to live. The best things in life can't be given to you for Christmas. Sure, someone could give you a Sadowsky bass and an Aguilar amp system, but playing skill is something that you have to give yourself with hard work, day after day, year after year. In other words, without the gifts that you give to yourself, the gifts that others give have limited value. The Black Knight always triumphs! JDL
Thats a great point, Dan. I agree and I don't think anyone has said something like that. dustdbassslo6
I'd have to say if I could pick one bass to be mine to put on a wish list it would have to be a custom Alembic Orion Bass. Four Strings, not too fancy, some exotic woods and shiny inlays.....oooooo yeah. That or an Epic 6. I want to start playing a six string, just cause, the low end B is so popular why not just have that and the top end too? If you're ever looking for me, a don't go too far. Cause if you really wanna find me, you know where I are... with me and my bass guitar!

I figure Ill wait till next Xmas when I can more fully appreciate a bass wish list. Your Friendly Neighborhood Pirate- Idnarb
_Sweet Willie_
Now that Xmas is really almost here, I did put some bass specific stuff in my letter to Santa: -EBS BassIQ envelope filter pedal -Bartolini Classic Bass Series p'ups to go into my Carvin -Private bass lessons at one of the local music schools Of course the usual world peace, loving family and friends, healthy and happy new year, etc. were in the mix as well. Peace. --sweets spreadluv Fanboy? Why, yes! Nordstrand Pickups and Guitars. Messiaen knew how to parlay the funk.
JDL
Pretty nice list Willie. Im jealous, what kind of Carvin do you have? And of course you cant forget all of the other stuff like what Willie mentioned at the end of his post. I want a Warwick Rock bass, or a Spector. I probably wont get one this X-mas, but maybe next time. By the way, my B-day is on January 11th, so e-mail me for my address to send those huge packages. No...............I'm serious Jdl-You still think I'm joking? You're crazy JDL on Purevolume Bird\'s Eye View on Purevolume
