fusionist
Hi all! I'm new here but it looks like a great board. I'm just looking for opinions and/or good and bad real-life experiences with this...Do you think song critique services that you pay for are good or bad idea? Personally, I have paid for these from hit songwriters but I can't shake the feeling that I'm getting ripped off. Although I have found the critiques enlightening I can't help but feel that the only reason the person is there is for the $$$. I usually hear things like yeah you're real close...BUT...keep working with me I can help you. Aren't they all going to say that??? Isn't it always about the money? Any thoughts?... Addix Metzatricity
Of course it's all about the money. Leave those people alone. There are plenty of people on this forum that will tell you whether your music is any good and/or how you could make it better. And they won't ask for money! george costanza
You could also ask people you know who's opinion you trust...& try playing them for people youy don't know, too (i.e., the public). That'll tell you a lot!
