mateo_dup2
Here I am working on a cd project, trying to make something work - I have some cool soft synths, including Reason, with some wicked sequenced basslines, and as a bass player I can't help myself from wanting to get down... I have tracked unision parts with a Jazz Bass, and some counterpoint. However, I run the risk of too much bass! I am using Cubase, along with Reason, and I run my bass through some effects like Waves Renaissance Bass and the MDA subbass thing, and sometimes a Fuzzbox. I need some good advice on how to get all this going on feasibly, how to make things sit in the mix etc.. Does anyone have any favorite ultra-bass tracks? in the funk vein? I have Freefilter, I don't know if that might be a useful tool.
Matt.Hepworth
Probably not what you want to hear, but let a guitarist mix your project. ;) No matter how good something is, there will always be someone blasting away on a forum somewhere about how much they hate it.
