era music
I use different kind of orders to record my songs and those of other ppl. But I wanne increase my possibliltiesof monitoring the sound, which will hopefully end up i getting an (even hehehehe) better result. Is it wise to start with drum or bass..or keybord...considering all the songs are already on tape but (just) have to be again on better equiment.. Just let me know Thanks you all the Music Freaks/friends Era Music
Danny M
Is this going to be a purely sequenced recording, purely "live," or a combination? If it's purely sequenced, I don't think the order of recording makes a significant difference. (It may make a significant difference to how the music is written, but that's another matter.) If it's purely live, I would suggest recording the drums first, or at least recording scratch tracks with drums in them. That timing reference will make things much easier for everyone else. (Although, if you have players who are good with a click track, you might be able to save the drums for a later time.) If it's a combination, I would start with the sequenced tracks first. (Again, for the most solid timing reference.) Your mileage may vary. -Danny Grace, Peace, V, and Hz, Danny
