Sylver
For those who use MOTU's Digital Performer, there is a new FREE update! Looks good. I may wait a few days though. Updates can always be nerve wracking. Pitch Automation. Pattern Gate Plug-in. V-Racks. AAF file interchange. Film/Video Scoring Enhancements. Multiple outputs for AU plug-ins & ReWire. Audio Click. Bounce to QuickTime Movie. Productivity Enhancements. Nice! I really don't know what to put here.
Kaptain Karl
The Pitch Automation looks very interesting...similar to Melodyne. Sylver
I've been reading a little more. THIS is the kind of update that makes me feel warm and fuzzy! Darn, how long until I get home? I really don't know what to put here.
Sergievsky
Thanks! Awesome! Everything on that list I need and have patiently waited for. Yeah! Awesome! I promise not to bitch anymore about Gibson killing Opcode! I promise not to be envious about any of Logic's synths! I promise to not whine about MOTU's bad a/d conversion on their interfaces! Just keep them free updates coming! Raul
charles_difranco
It's always been my understanding updates are free - what makes this one any different? A total upgrade, though - might be a different story.

Considering the substantial list of new features included in 4.6, this update reads more like an upgrade. Count me among those who are pleasantly surprised by MOTU. KB Gunn
Yep, I downloaded it and it works fine. The pitch correction is not easy to use yet. It does not seem very intuitive. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it soon enough. Thanks for the heads up about the new version. Dave The Rave
Thanks for the pointer Sylver! I'll get my copy updated over the weekend sometime. Cheers, :DTR Cambrian Guitars
Sylver
Careful with that update, though! I've been reading on the MOTU forum, www.unicornation.com, and there are a lot of people having problems at the moment. It seems to be especially problematic in Tiger and with Quicksilver G4s. I really don't know what to put here.
