SPAM is the culinary equivalent of particle board. SCRAPPLE is like SPAM in the respect that it consists of the same parts of the pig. except that SCRAPPLE is just loose leftover 'SCRAPS' (not compressed into a brick) the meat may include the sholder, head meat (excluding eyeballs), liver, ass, feet, and whatever may be left (testicles?? ) SAUSAGE is ground up from the *good* or should i say, more well known parts of the pig. (not particularly SCRAPS), it all depends though. but again not compressed into a brick but constrained by the pig's intestinal outer-lining. that's just my theory....i could be wrong ;)

SPUSHI! Spam on a bed of rice! Yum! Actually I can eat it cold. Ya gotta wipe of all that slimy filler. If you cook it all the freaking salt comes out so you better eat it with unsalted cooked eggs! I never done that before...

Oh, I dunno... I actually have always LIKED SPAM (Not the stuff in my email box, the canned variety)... but then again, I actually like some of the MRE's too (MRE, for those who don't know, are the military "Meals, Ready to Eat" - also known as "Meals, Refusing to Exit", "Meals, Rejected by Everyone" and a few other names that I can't repeat in polite circles...) But I do have my standards: I'll go hungry before eating the "Four Fingers of Death" MRE's (The hot dogs are truely horrible). And for the record, according to Hormel, SPAM is pork shoulder. Driload said: they have a webpage by the way dear lord.... THEY HAVE A WEBPAGE! You think THAT'S scary? They have a FAN CLUB!  ;) :D http://www.spam.com/fc.htm Phil O'Keefe Sound Sanctuary Recording Riverside CA http://www.ssrstudio.com pokeefe777@ssrstudio.com

Corn meal is very important to the flavor and texture. Yes, most scrapple has some scrap meat in it, but who cares. SCRAPPLE ROCKS! It is the king of all breakfast meat! Oh, and I knew a guy that used to work at a well known hot dog manufaturer that also made scrapple. He said that the hot dogs contained more scrap meat than the scrapple. So, go out to the diner, get two eggs over, homefries and a nice big piece of crispy scrapple. Syrup is optional. (Damn, now I want some scrapple!) Jack
I really don't know what to put here.

SPAM.........yuck! That's one of those things that you were forced to eat as a kid and promised NEVER to introduce to your own children. I don't eat any PORK products other than bacon; and it is very rare for me to eat bacon because of the saturated fat and sodium content. I do, however, think that the slang term used for internet canvassing has given SPAM lots of free advertisement. What a clever approach to free marketing. Did they pay someone to think up the term??? :D :D :D
