spokenward
Can a modern Macintosh (like a G5 iMac) running 10.3 play a 96k 24bit file without additional hardware using the QuickTime player? The files are .wav written on DVD-R. I tried it on my Powerbook and it failed, but I'm running 10.2.8 on a Pismo. If it is QuickTime related, is there another app that supports playback? offramp
Can't answer your question right away, but DO get yourself up to Panther on Pismo. I have. I've upped my standards; now, up yours.
deanmass
Take your DVD down to the Apple store and let em run it. Cheapest way to find out for sure.
where02190
I'm very certain Quicktime does not play 96k files. Hope this is helpful. NP Recording Studios Analog approach to digital recording.
