Red Winger Posted October 21, 2004 Share Posted October 21, 2004 I'm not affiliated, just a potential buyer, but saw this announcment for the MIDI Jet on HC and thought I'd pass it on. I have a Fantom-S that sits about 15 feet from my main DAW, and this would be a very nice way to avoid some cables. Only problem is the $375 price tag seems a bit steep. With the Frontier Tranzport being announced, sounds like we might see a lot more 2.4 GHz wireless devices start to hit the streets. "I don't know anything about music. offramp Posted October 21, 2004 Share Posted October 21, 2004 About 14 years ago, I was discussing becoming a rep for a company named Gambatti!; they made wireless MIDI. It seems they tried to surface for about a year or so, then quietly disappeared. Wonder if there's any relation. I've upped my standards; now, up yours.
