Sundown
Hey all, I’m a Steinberg loyalist so my tools of choice are Cubase and Wavelab, but I do use DaVinci for creating simple music videos. I noticed that Blackmagic calls their embedded audio editor “Fairlight” and I’m curious if it has any linkage to the Fairlight CMI personnel or Fairlight heritage. I haven’t been able to find any connection through Google, etc., but boy that’s a heck of a coincidence for a name. Any thoughts? Bill Heins
Looks like it's based on the Fairlight Dream II production workstation. Bill Quote http://www.billheins.com/ Hail Vibrania!
Anderton
Yup, there's an historical Fairlight connection. The name still has value.
