zephonic
I really like their Super 6, probably the only non-rompler I'd consider buying. The 8 seems positioned between the six and the Gemini. https://www.soundonsound.com/news/superbooth24-udo-audio-super-8 Quote local: Korg Nautilus 73 | Yamaha MODX8 away: GigPerformer home: Kawai RX-2 | Korg D1 | Roland Fantom X7
David Emm
ESI is promoting its XSynth, which is basically an XKey 25 with a 3-oscillator engine, 3 envelopes & 3 LFOs. I'm curious, because I'm a big XKey player. The keys here are even shorter, to accommodate the synth controls. I don't need the synth, but my 3 XKeys play on and on, so I suspect the build quality is much the same. I also expect an editor for it. It might end up being a secret-sauce module as well as a controller for a lot of rigs. Nifty. Edit: It ALSO acts as both an audio and MIDI interface. Whoa. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9APT4_t04Pg&t=82s 2 Quote "You seem pretty calm about all that."
