Different price point at $599.  The cube EX has 2x8” drivers with power split between two 25w amps.  Runs on alkaline batteries - the rechargeable pack is extra. 4 or 5 hours on max power 50W, 8 hours when set to 25w. Being able to link to a second for more coverage is a nice feature.  
 

16.6lbs understandably. I can’t find any specs on frequency response or spl.

thanks EJF, yeah you can do same with the Roland link out -  SPL "feels" like it's around 115. I've run mine for two session of about 3 hours each on max power setting, albeit not on full volume haha!

 

and yes a different price point.
