Bunny Knutson
No, this is not a joke. The creator of that catchphrase, concert announcer Al Dvorin, has died in car accident in California. whitefang
Sad to hear in any case. But it does bring to mind how we all seem to pick up and use, parody and play with these four and five word idioms without bothering to wonder just where they came from. I mean, who was the first to say, "24/7". Or, "Let's not go there." Who started us using the prefix "mega" to describe huge problems or rewards( "Man, I'm in MEGA trouble!"). I suppose being known to coin such a popular catchphrase is a unique kind of fame. Whitefang I started out with NOTHING...and I still have most of it left!
