franky64 Posted August 18, 2023 Author Share Posted August 18, 2023 when VR700 entered the marked, its layering and splitting were the hottest wet dreams of any proud owner of a 'glorious Red' (who, of course, would have never admitted). Even todays Electro 6D has less layering/split capabilities R nearly went bankrupt because they missed (ignored ?) the transition of society from 'technical focus' to 'fashion' for a much too long time. While 'the consumer' had shifted towards 'style' and 'shiny happy PR bubble-bubble', R continued to behave like a nerdish synth manufacturer in Smith/Moog style - quite unfavorable for 'big business' in modern times Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
