Obviously that's only one part of the conference, but it seems like the time is finally right for surround to start staking its claim as the next logical step in audio technology. ------------------------------------------------ Daly City, CA (August 18, 2004) -- Digidesign is pleased to participate in the Surround 2004 International Conference & Showcase on August 31 and September 1, 2004, at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles. The SurroundPro conference is under the umbrella of the http://www.entertainmentmediaexpo.com/ You can get the tentative program pdf here. Various DVD production, manufacturing, and packaging entities are represented on the other tracks. The Surround conference program does not appear to be all marketing shills.
